Who are we?

Our history

Founded 15 years ago by tea lovers, “La boîte à thé” came into being during a move, when the founders realized that the tea boxes they were packing weren’t very pretty. From this observation and a passion for design and graphic arts was born this online boutique, www.la-boite-a-the.com.

In 2024, the company was taken over by tea enthusiasts who travelled the world in search of new teas and local crafts.

Our products and services

We offer tea caddies hand-decorated in France, using Japanese Washi paper or illustrations by French and foreign artists. Each tin is a work of art, combining tradition and innovation to enhance your tea experience.
